Only a small amount of alcohol can do a lot to a developing brain

The government has tried to stop underage drinking. The Figures have gone down but are still not low enough.
A US study (pictured bellow) shows the there has been a decrease over time but it still isn't low enough.
It is illegal to buy alcohol if you are under 18 but under 18's can still get alcohol through older siblings, friends and parents
The study showed that 1 in 5 students drank  in the past year. The 53% of the people who didn't pay for their alcohol got it from their parents and 6% of those people took it from their parents with out them knowing about It.
According to the Education Queensland website its illegal to supply alcohol to a minor in a public place but it doesn't say that its illegal to supply alcohol to a minor in a non-public place. But in a public place on the spot fines of up to $600 apply.
